Our practice is based on the belief that our patients' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire staff is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our practice is from repeat patients and referrals.

Dr. Edney grew up in Tryon and finished his undergraduate work at the University of South Carolina and earned a Doctorate of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He has practiced in a large group practice in Asheville, NC for 23 years and here in Columbus for the past 13 years.

Dr. Edney is experienced in the identification and treatment of ocular disease, primary eye care, and contact lens fitting. He is a member of the Mountain District Optometric Society and is licensed by the North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee Boards of Optometry.

Dr. Edney is a pilot and he and his wife, Dina, enjoy flying, boating, scuba diving and travel.
